Mokum Filmdistributie legt zich toe op de verspreiding van – naar haar inzicht – artistieke en dwarse films van cinematografisch hoge kwaliteit. Per jaar zullen tussen de drie en vijf films worden uitgebracht. Acquisitie vindt plaats met behulp van reeds aanwezige internationale contacten met producenten, sales agents en regisseurs.
Actieve scouting van nieuwe titels zal met name plaatsvinden op het International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) en het International Documentary Filmfestival Amsterdam (IDFA).
Mokum Filmdistributie is een stichting zonder winstoogmerk. Het betekent dat alle eventueel gemaakte winst direct voor de aanschaf van nieuwe films zal worden aangewend.

About Mokum Film Distribution
Mokum Film Distribution aimes at distributing films of high cinematografic quality. Films that are made by, in her view, artistically audacious filmmakers. Mokum Film is a not-for-profit foundation. All profits made during the process of distributing films will be applied for the acquisition of new films.
To acquire new film titles Mokum Film will use her broad, international network of film producers, sales agents and film directors. Active scouting of new titles will take place especially during the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam.
Each year three to five films will be distributed in The Netherlands.
